Subscription Service for either 3, 6, or 12 months. Once your payment has
gone through, you are a member and we send you an email to welcome you.
After that, we send you the Names, Phone Numbers & other Contact
Information of clients and customers who are looking for the services of a
Professional Photographer in Melbourne, Australia. You also get a brief
description of the type of photography job that is needed and what the
client requires. After that, it is up to you the photographer to contact
those clients and customers that we send you, to convince them to use your
services, show them your folio, provide a quotation on the photography job
and book the work in and win lots more new clients. And hopefully, you
keep those clients forever for all of their photography jobs and
requirements and turn them into very profitable customers.

We are a well known successful medium size Photography Studio in Melbourne
Australia.
Not only are we competent photographers in what we do with our
cameras and lighting, we are also particularly successful at marketing and
advertising our photography business and therefore generally work 6 days
per week already. We advertise in front of individual people in the general public, to busy
graphic designers, to business owners and managers, to highly targeted art
directors and marketing firms, to the top end of management in large
corporations such as CEO’s etc
In fact we are so good at marketing
photography services and photographers, that we have to regularly turn
away customers and clients. Mainly due to the fact that we have far too much
photography work for just one company and also because we get a lot of
requests for types of photography that we don't really specialise in or do
ourselves. And so this service was born from
our marketing success. That company is

It is a
company that provides photography work, industry contacts and new clients
for photographers in Melbourne, Australia.
Every year our company spends in excess of around AUS$11,000+ just in
advertising and marketing and because of this, we are one of the busiest
photography studios in Melbourne, Australia. We generally work 6 days per
week and could easily spread our excess of work over 7 days per week if we
really wanted to. Mostly our work comes from the Yellow Pages books,
advertisements in local papers, ads in trade magazines and other highly
targeted promotions. We have tried and tested our advertising methods
tirelessly and we know exactly what works and doesn’t work. We know where
to spend our money for best results and where not to waste our money on
duds when it comes to marketing and advertising. It has taken many years
and many, many thousands of dollars to tweak our advertising campaigns down
to a finely tuned balance that gets spectacular results and keeps us
incredibly busy.
However, we felt that it was a great shame to generate so much photography
work and interest in our services, only to regularly have to say "Sorry
we are too busy right now" or "Sorry we don't do that sort of
photography." We all know how hard it is to get the work, and even
harder to then turn perspective clients away for whatever reason. So now other photographers in Melbourne can benefit from our

What happens when I purchase a Subscription?
After you make your purchase, you will be sent an automatic email to
confirm your payment, normally within 30 minutes. That email will be from
a company called Paymate, the company that processes our online payments.
You will then receive an email on the next business day when the payment has
been processed. Shortly after that you will get an email from us to welcome and
notify you that you have been included into the current Subscription
Service.
From that point onwards, you will start receiving photography job quotes
and requests for photographers services as soon as they become available
to us. Normally, you will receive a large number of job quotes and
photography requests at the same
time as you receive your welcome confirmation email. This is a
one time only initial send out of some of the jobs that have been sent
out to our members recently within the last few weeks that we believe may still
be current. We do this so our members are sent maximum amount of
contacts as soon as they join and also so you get the idea of how our
service works and so you can familiarise yourself with the system. Please be aware
that these initial Photography job requests that are sent to you straight
after you join, may already have a photographer confirmed and booked in
for the job, as we are unaware of any current negotiations between the
client and any of our members.
What is the best subscription for you?
For the most cost effective way to subscribe to our service, we recommend
the 12 month subscription service every time. Some quick simple equations
on your calculator will tell you that our 12 month subscription service is
by far the most economical subscription and will also give you the
broadest range of job contacts too because of seasonal cycles, economic
cycles and other time sensitive factors such as the end of the financial
year, Public Holidays and Festive Seasons etc. No matter what sort of
Photography that you specialise in, you would only have to win one
of the photography jobs that we send you, for you to recoup your full
Subscription cost back and make a profit. Please be aware
that the prices for our Subscriptions are subject to change without notice
according to the demand for this service.
Can you upgrade your subscription?
What happens when my subscription runs out?
If you would like to join our subscription service for either 3 or 6
months to trial it and make your decision on whether it is for you or not,
you always have the option to continue & upgrade your subscription to the
standard 12 month period after your initial subscription runs out. It is
however, a little less cost effective this way, rather than buying a 12
Month Subscription from the start. When your subscription eventually runs
out, you will be notified by GetPhotoJobs.com
and prompted to purchase an Upgrade Subscription and continue for the next
12 months, providing that you are happy with our service obviously and
that you wish to do so. Around 85%-90% of our members Upgrade and continue
their subscriptions for another 12 months after their membership

How do you get the photography contacts and job quotes sent to you?
All contact between you and The Melbourne Photographers
Subscription service is by email.
You should make sure that all of your Email Filters, Safe / Block Email
Lists and Spam Management Systems are set to allow all email from our
services and the domain of getphotojobs.com to ensure that you do not miss
any important Photography Job requests from us. You should also remember

What happens after you receive the job contacts?
After you receive a job contact from us by email, it's all up
to you. If you would like to follow up on it you can, or if it is not the
sort of photography job that you are interested in doing, then that's ok
too. We can only send you information about the jobs and the client, we
can't win the jobs for you or guarantee anything after that point. Nobody
can do that in business. It is up to you to phone the client and introduce
yourself, show them your folio if requested or applicable, send them a
quote for the job and then follow them up and try to convert them into a
real customer and genuine sales. All that we do is provide you with a
perspective client and their contact info and job requirements who are
looking for a professional photographers services. This is often the
hardest thing to achieve in a photography business and indeed any business
in general. Many photographers find it easy to do the work, but
difficult to get the work.
The factors that influence you winning the photography job or the new
client are no different to any other circumstances: Your Prices & fees
that you charge, quality of your Folio and Photography Services and your
sales ability combined with the overall package that you offer them. Some
customers want to spend less and are not so bothered with the quality so
long as it is cost effective, whilst others will pay premium prices for
your services,
so long as the quality is incredibly high and they get exactly what
they want. That's life and just the way the world works. It's no different

change from time to time, depending on how many photographers have joined

number of members or quota in this subscription service, we do reward our
existing subscribers by making their competition (other photographers who

able to join up. This is why the prices do vary sometimes. It helps

also helps to cull the demand for this service by price increases on a

or at the best case scenario, you get a few people interested but still do

What happens to
the profits from this website?
When new subscribers join the Melbourne Photographers
Subscription Service, some of the profits go towards the maintenance of
this website and its administration costs, and the rest of the money is
put back into our advertising campaigns. Naturally, by the very nature of
how GetPhotoJobs.com works, any extra
photography work that we cannot do or are not interested in doing as a
result of those extra advertising dollars, means that it is our
Subscribers who benefit and get that extra work sent to them by email. So
ultimately, your payment goes towards our advertising campaigns, which in
turn feeds our subscribers and keeps the process snowballing. It is one of
the major reasons why this service works so well and recycles its own
success.
Do you provide refunds?
This service is provided as is and there are strictly No Refunds
You cannot get a refund for a Yellow Pages Advertisement, a Promotion in
the Newspaper or any other form of advertising. Our service is no
different, but will almost certainly give you much better
results................ and it's far cheaper. Draw your own
conclusions.
How
many photography job requests / quote requests are sent out to you?
This is a hard one to answer as it varies greatly. On average,
you could expect to get 3-5 contacts per week sent to you by email, but
can sometimes be up to 10-12 contacts per week depending on different
circumstances. Sometimes, you may not get any photography contacts sent to
you for say 7 or 8 days, but then all of a sudden you may get 5 sent to
you in one afternoon. It simply depends on the market place and how busy
we are and how many enquiries that we get, and this does vary quite a lot.
Between 15 - 30 Photography Jobs are emailed out to our members per month
as a good rule of thumb. Generally, we send out contacts to our Subscribers as soon as they become
available to us, time permitting.
What
time of the day are the photography job requests sent out generally?
Contacts are sent to you by email at any time of the day, 24
hours per day, 7 days per week, all year round. As soon as we receive the
requests, we try to pass them onto our subscribers as soon as physically
possible. You could quite possibly even get contacts sent to you by email
at 3am in the morning! All subscribers to our service are on an email
mailing list system and receive contacts by email at exactly
the same time, whatever time that happens to be. We suggest checking your
email as often as possible to give you the best chance to follow-up on the
photography contacts that we send you. Checking your email twice per day
would be recommended, but checking it more often than that would be more
of an advantage to all of our Subscribers and give you the best chance of
winning the most amount of photography work that we send out.

Who should join this service?
This service is for anyone who is a Professional Photographer,
Amateur Photographer or Photography Student who live in Melbourne,
Australia and wish to receive contact information from prospective new
clients who actually need the services of a Photographer. All photography
work that is sent to you is from real people and companies in Melbourne
and Victoria only who are looking for the services of a professional

How do
you get paid for the Photography jobs that you do?
You get paid from the actual client / customer, just as you
normally would. You do not get paid by
GetPhotoJobs.com and you do not pay
GetPhotoJobs.com any other commissions when you win any of the
jobs. The only payment that you make to
GetPhotoJobs.com is your membership cost, that's it. Once you
contact the client from the details that we provide you with, it is up to
you to give them a quote and try and win the job. If you do win the job,
it is an agreement between yourself as the photographer and the client /
customer on the amount and payment terms, exactly how you already do
things in your Photography business. You would only have to win one of the photography jobs that we
send you, for you to recoup your full Subscription cost back and
make a profit.

GetPhotoJobs.com is a very new and unique service that only

We do
understand some peoples hesitations about our service and the fact that we
are new and probably the only one of its kind in Australia. It is run by a
well known Photographer in Melbourne and is one of the most professional
and innovative new services to enter the Australian Professional
Photographic industry in the last decade. All of our members agree that it
is a great idea and is run in a very professional manner and generally
delivers substantially more than what they might have expected before
joining up with the service. Our best recommendation is to send us an

discuss our services at our earliest convenience. We generally find
this puts most peoples minds to rest about our service when they can speak
to the actual person that runs the operation and have all of their

No, not at this stage nor is it likely to happen in the future.
It is only suitable for Photographers in Melbourne, Australia. We cannot
provide similar services in other capital cities of Australia as requested
by many people, as our advertising programs do not extend into those
areas.
Our tips and tricks
to be successful……………..
- Check your email as often as possible. The more often you check your
email, the better chance you have of being the first photographer to
contact the client and impressing them and hopefully winning the work.
- Always Phone the client first to introduce yourself and make
personalised contact and clarify the job requirements. It makes it easier
to quote, provides better communication, it is quicker and it is
also much easier to win a job and try and close sales when discussing it
on the phone than by email and waiting for a non personalised reply etc.
- Be prepared to do as many different types
of Photography as possible. Whilst it is entirely up to you which clients
you contact and what sort of work interests you, the more jobs and
customers you phone, the better your chances of landing the extra work.
The more types of Photography work that you are prepared to take on, the
more quotes you can put in and the more successful you will be in the long
run and the more beneficial this service will be to you.
- Purchase a 12 Month Subscription Service.
Not only is it the most cost effective choice by a long way, but you will
be able to get the most out of our service and be less affected by slower
periods at certain times of the year. Often it is hard to forecast in
advance when work will be busy and when work might be a little slower in
terms of being contacted by clients. For example, if you join our service
in December on a 3 months only subscription, experience tells us that late
December and most of January is traditionally a fairly slow time for
people looking to book a Photographer. Whereas, we find September,
October, and November to be very busy as a general rule as well as the
lead up to Easter and other various other particular times of the year.
- You should make sure that all of your
Email Filters, Safe / Block Email Lists and Spam Management Systems are
set to allow all email from our services and the domain of
getphotojobs.com to ensure that you do not miss any important Photography
Job requests from us. This is especially so for members who have a
Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail or similar email address, as often
these free services can ditch good emails out into their junk folders
without your permission and without you ever knowing it. You should also remember to inform us if your email
address changes for any reason. If you forget to notify us of this, you
will not receive email from our service.
- Always print out your job contacts on your
printer as a hard copy as soon as you get them in case you accidentally
delete them from your email box. You should also have a folder or section
within your email program that just stores your quotes etc so you know
what you have received, what you have quoted on and what still needs to be
quoted on.
- Don't hit the reply button to send the
client a quote! This will send us an email at

and not your new prospective client, which probably won't win you many
photography jobs. You need to forward the email with the clients email
address copy and pasted into the TO: field or just start a new
email from scratch.
